The National Association of Friendship Centres together with the J. W. McConnell Family Foundation and partners, The Circle and Canadians For A New Partnership, are organizing Canada’s first ever Indigenous Innovation Summit to take place November 18-20th, in Winnipeg.
The Summit will empower participants to build new partnerships, helping participants learn more about the current state of social innovation in Canada and unlock new solutions to some common challenges. The Summit brings together Indigenous innovators from across Canada and a variety of sectors. By way of a unique, participatory format, the Summit encourages something referred to as “field building”, creating new connections and partnerships and overcoming old barriers.
